Antibiotic Management and Early Discharge from Hospital

pH Associates have been supporting a series of lcoal service evaluations to collect data on the management of antibiotics in hopsitals and the potential for earlier discharge. The results were presented as a poster at the Federation of Infection Society (FIS) Meeting in Edinburgh on 18th November 2010.

The project has been led by Dr Matthew Dryden, consultant Microbiologist from the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester and also involved the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Imperial College NHS Trust and Guys & St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust in London.
