pH Associates and Royal College of Physicians survey findings quoted in article on BBC
Date: 7/12/2010
A survey conducted by pH Associates in conjunction with the Royal College of Physicians has been quoted in an online article by the BBC. The survey conducted earlier this year explored the acute medical care in a number of Trusts across the UK. The survey showed that whilst good progress has been made since 2008 in the organisation and adequacy of acute medical care, there are still a number of standards which are not routinely met.
Sir Richard Thompson, President of the Royal College of Physicians was quotes as saying that "Patients are still not getting the care they deserve at night and at weekends. Too many junior doctors are covering too many very ill patients, and this has to change. ”
