Catherine Bottomley is an Associate Director working across both the Patient Centred Outcomes and Real World Evidence teams at pH Associates. Catherine’s responsibilities at pH include consulting with clients and key opinion leaders to design data collection studies and developing long term Real World Evidence and Patient Centred brand plans. Catherine also enjoys providing strategic oversight of the implementation of complex client projects and has experience working across a variety of therapeutic areas.
Catherine joined the pH team in 2015 and has previously worked in academic, clinical and late phase pharmaceutical consultancy environments. She began her career as a Pharmacist and has a PhD in Health Outcomes from Cardiff University. Catherine’s PhD involved the development and validation of a generic quality of life instrument for family members of patients (the FROM-16®). Prior to joining pH Associates, Catherine worked as a Project Manager for the Patient Reported Outcome department of a large CRO. Catherine has presented at national and international conferences, including an international keynote speech, and currently teaches on The Economics of Healthcare module of the Postgraduate Course in Pharmaceutical Medicine at Cardiff University. She is an active member of ISPOR and ISOQOL.
