We were delighted that our pH Associates’ Patient Centred Outcomes team successfully brought together expert UK endocrinologists and conducted a Delphi panel.
This work was the first step to understanding the characteristics considered ‘important’ by UK hypoparathyroidism experts for defining patients with chronic hypoparathyroidism.
The results of the panel were recently presented at the Society for Endocrinology, British Endocrinology Society (SfE, BES) 2017 meeting, held in Harrogate and can be found at: Rylands et al. (2017). Delphi panel to define patients with chronic hypoparathyroidism ‘not adequately controlled on standard therapy’. Endocrine Abstracts, Volume 50, P062.
