The results of a prospective observational study of the impact of COPD on daily life following the initiation of indacaterol was presented today at the ERS International Congress in Munich with pH author Ruth Uden.
The study involved a large number of primary care centres in the UK collecting longitudinal data on patients being prescribed indacaterol in routine practice. The study focussed on the impact on patient attainment of goals and used the novel CAT score. pH Associated were responsible for the study from design of the protocol with Professor Jones, St George’s Hospital London to the delivery of the final manuscript.
